A recent Harvard university study asked the question. “What meal would you consume for breakfast that would give you the best weight loss, the best blood sugar function, the best energy and it came down to protein.”
The conclusion was a protein breakfast was the best breakfast you could eat.
Your breakfast sets you up for later in the day. You don't want a blood sugar crash later in the day. A high carb breakfast will give you that crash. You want protein. Eggs and meat are fin as Dr. Berg explains in the video.
If you have low blood sugar or high blood sugar you should probably add some fat to your breakfast. Fats like butter, cheese, peanut butter and nuts.
